To install, or not to install: that is the question…
Shouldn’t it be better if every smartphone software update included a more transparent release note?
I don’t mean something very detailed, but at least a general summary of the most important features implemented and most critical bugs fixed.
Wouldn’t the users be more engaged if they knew why they are prompted with a software update? Shouldn’t the users be informed about the value delivered to them?
Am I the only one who gets upset for this kind of ridiculous and unhelpful statements (“can include, but it is not limited to”) inherited from a “hedge your bets” mindset?
Meanwhile, this update has been waiting to be downloaded for several weeks.
Apparently, there is no value/harm in (not) installing it…
